The Y-Wing Strafing Run is a special ability in Republic Defender. The Y-Wing Strafing Run is unlocked after defeating the final Mustafar level.
The Y-wing Strafing Run is a multipurpose special ability that can damage several ground and air units. After clicking on three targets to attack, a squad of Y-wing bombers will make four runs through the stage, unleashing bombs on your three designated targets. While in the air, the Y-wings will also damage nearby air units that fly by, making this another useful defense against stronger air units. Although the Y-wings are limited to three attacks, the bombs they release deal more damage than the Orbital Strike and Tank Mines.
