The Gravity Generator is a utility turret in the game Republic Defender. It is unlocked after completing the Outer Rim level, Adrift, and costs 200 Energy to build
The Gravity Generator decreases the speed of all nearby ground droids, making it effective to use on small stages. The speed reducing effects of this turret provides several benefits. Slower turrets like the Mortar Cannon and the Ion Cannon will have more time to attack when placed near Gravity Generators, and fast droids such as the Hailfire Droid and Dwarf Spider Droid will be easier to defeat. This turret is especially useful towards the Deactivator, for it becomes more powerful the longer it charges. The only one obvious rule when using Gravity Generators is never place them too close to each other; always keep them spread out so that droids will remain slow throughout the whole path. There are no cons to the Gravity Generator, however, they should only be used when a turret slot can be given on the turret selection screen.
With each upgrade, the Gravity Generator's speed reducing ability strengthens. For example, droids near a rank 3 Gravity Generator will be slower than droids near a rank 2 Gravity Generator.

The Rank 5 Gravity Generator
Projectors. There are five different variations of the Gravity Well Projector, each based off of the color schemes of the ranks. Gravity Well Projectors release a spinning blue aura and emit blue lights.
